Spring Fishing
Spring brings about the much anticipated walleye opener in Minnesota.  Leech Lake has walleye in abundance every year, making it one of the top Minnesota fishing destinations in the spring come early May. Spring is also the time for the Minnesota Govenor’s Fishing Opener. The Governor’s Fishing Opener has been a tradition in Minnesota since 1948.

Winter Fishing

Winter fishing in Minnesota of course means ice fishing! Walleye and northern pike are the fish most sought after this time of year. Bring your ice house and experience Minnesota’s winters first hand on the lake!
